Workspaces and projects

A workspace brings your team and integrations together. A project groups the servers and applications you work on. Create or select both before connecting a server.

Choose your workspace

Use the workspace selector in the dashboard navigation. Open an existing workspace or select Create workspace, enter its name and save. The dashboard switches to the new workspace after creation succeeds.

Workspace membership controls access to shared resources. Its GitHub installation, container-registry credentials and optional hosted-services wallet belong to that workspace.

Create your first project

Select the workspace

Check the workspace name in the navigation. A project belongs to that workspace.

Create the project

Select Create project in the overview or project selector. Enter a recognizable name such as customer-portal and save.

Check the active project

Confirm the project name before creating resources. Switching projects changes the applications and pools available in lists and deployment forms.

Connect a server

Select Connect your server. Follow the server connection guide, then deploy your first application.

Organize environments

Use separate projects when you want to organize production, staging or unrelated work. A project’s name is an organizational choice; it does not automatically create an isolated preview environment, a copy of a database or a separate server.

Private application hostnames connect workloads only in the same project on the same server.

Work with a team

Invite members at the workspace level. Available actions depend on the permissions returned by the platform. Read-only users can inspect resources but cannot connect servers or deploy changes.

GitHub access and private registry grants are separate from membership. Joining a workspace does not automatically grant every repository or registry credential to every project.

When context will not load

Retry the failed workspace or project request. If access has changed, ask the workspace owner to review it. Do not create a replacement workspace or server merely because a list failed to load.
